Professional Staff

The average experience of our investment team is 25 years. The average tenure with Montag & Caldwell of our investment professionals is 17 years. Our investment group is led by Ronald E. Canakaris, CFA and William A. Vogel, CFA. Mr. Canakaris joined Montag & Caldwell in 1972 as a portfolio manager and research analyst. In 1973, he became Director of Research, and in 1984 was promoted to President and Chief Investment Officer of the firm. Ron currently serves as Chairman and Chief Investment Officer for Montag & Caldwell. Mr. Vogel joined Montag & Caldwell as a portfolio manager and research analyst in 1988. He became Chief Executive Officer in 2006 and President in 2009.  Mr. Canakaris and Mr. Vogel are complimented by an extremely experienced and stable team of investment professionals who together have applied the same discipline to the stock selection process developed over 37 years ago.
